The Independence model from Mosquito Magnet is supposed to be a big step up from the lower-priced Defender model. The Independence is larger, cordless, and like the Liberty Plus, it boasts a full 1/2 acre of greater protection and coverage (1 acre total) than the Defender.
And with a price tag nearly $300 higher than the Defender, you would expect a higher-quality machine that withstands the test of time. Unfortunately, the Independence from Mosquito Magnet has failed to live up the hype and, as a result, is our lowest-rated Mosquito Magnet model.
