Produced from 18 years of arduous research and with more than 15 patents, Mosquito Magnet traps are the first carbon dioxide-based traps for biting insects to be used commercially. The Mosquito Magnet is also the first propane-powered trap to use Lurex3TM solution, the first and only attractant approved by the EPA that is formulated specifically to catch the Asian Tiger Mosquito, known to spread the dreaded West Nile Virus.

The Mosquito Magnet lures, captures, and controls mosquitoes and other biting insects by releasing a continuous stream of heated octenol, carbon dioxide (CO2), and humidity, which are proven to attract mosquitoes to the trap. Through its patented Counterflow Technology, it continuously vacuums mosquitoes that have been attracted to the trap into a net where they will dehydrate and die in about 24 hours.
